Imagine that you can have an electric energy source which is clean, carbon-free, affordable, compact, and silent, producing no radiation, no emissions, and containing no hazardous materials. And imagine that it runs for 10 or more years without recharging or refueling.

This is the E-Cat.

At the core of the E-Cat technology is an innovative method for applying the physics of the electron. It is based on what is called Zero Point Energy (ZPE) which is a complex concept in which energy can be extracted from the vacuum though quantum effects.

The method is implemented in a small confined space with minute amounts of ordinary non-hazardous elements such as nickel, hydrogen, aluminum, and lithium, producing a high efficiency plasma system. There is no fuel, and none of these materials is consumed.

From the plasma it is possible to extract light, heat, or electricity.

The plasma is kept stable, and can be switched on and off instantly, thanks to a small unit of control electronics which consumes only a small amount of energy, while the energy that it produces through ZPE is much greater.

A detailed theoretical hypothesis, explaining the operation of the E-Cat, is presented by Leonardo Corporation CEO and E-cat inventor Andrea Rossi in his paper “E-Cat SK and Long-range Particle Interactions”.

In 2022 the US Department of Defense’s Homeland Defense & Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) reviewed Andrea Rossi’s paper and wrote a report titled “Concepts Behind the E-Cat SK“.
